DELEGATES VISIT TRANG AN LANDSCAPE COMPLEX IN NINH BINH AFTER THE 2024 INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON GREEN TRANSFORMATION
Following a productive and engaging program at the 2024 International Conference on Green Transformation, on October 25, 2024, a group of international delegates—including scientists, experts, and lecturers from countries such as India, the Philippines, Uzbekistan, the Netherlands, South Korea, Japan, and others—embarked on a field trip to the Trang An Landscape Complex in Ninh Binh Province.
This excursion served not only as a meaningful side activity to help delegates unwind after days of intensive discussions but also as a valuable opportunity to explore the cultural, historical, and ecological values of Vietnam—a country steadily transitioning toward sustainable and green development.
This excursion served not only as a meaningful side activity to help delegates unwind after days of intensive discussions but also as a valuable opportunity to explore the cultural, historical, and ecological values of Vietnam—a country steadily transitioning toward sustainable and green development.
At Trang An, a UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site, the delegation enjoyed a boat tour through majestic limestone mountain ranges, weaving through natural caves and visiting sacred historical sites such as Trinh Temple, Dia Linh Cave, and Nau Ruou Cave. The pristine natural beauty harmoniously blended with ancient cultural architecture left a lasting impression on the international guests.
Many delegates expressed particular interest in Trang An’s model of eco-tourism development combined with environmental conservation—a vivid example of green transformation and sustainable development, themes that had been strongly emphasized throughout the conference.
"This has been a wonderful experience. Trang An is a perfect integration of nature, culture, and a sustainable tourism strategy. I believe this model should be shared and replicated," said a delegate from India.
