Scientific Committee – Session 7
Agro-Ecology and Sustainable Food Systems

The Scientific Committee of Session 7 brings together 14 distinguished members, including 8 international experts (approximately 57%) from Korea, the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom, and global agricultural research alliances. These experts represent diverse research fields including agroecology, soil science, sustainable food systems, biodiversity, and agricultural policy. Their collective expertise ensures a holistic and cross-disciplinary approach to sustainability in food production and land use.

With this interdisciplinary and international representation, the Committee will guide discussions on agro-ecological practices, sustainable land use, climate-resilient food systems, and equitable food access. Session 7 will feature innovative models of agricultural transformation, case studies on agro-biodiversity, and policy solutions to ensure long-term food security under environmental change.
